Back To School...

Yes... Another school year.

Last year I had to attend a two-day seminar on Assessment on the first days back to the job after summer vacation. The presenters showed a video from SNL with Jerry Seinfeld portraying a History teacher in a public high school. Needless to say, that was the best part of their presentation.

Primal Scream - Riot City Blues

I heard the single from this album, "Country Girl", on internet radio one morning. Immediately I wrote the album down on my list of cds that I intend on purchasing. Of course, it takes me forever to track it down used and on the cheap.

Well worth the wait. More rocking than their 1997 release, Vanishing Point, and more akin to 1994's Give Out But Don't Give Up in sound and structure. Just a great album to rock the fuck out to on a sunny day.
